CARLOS SARLI

Carlos Sarli started to contribute to the music industry in his teens. He has a unique sense of mixing, and admirable talents which have been well recognized in the Latin American Music Industry.

Born in Miami, Sarli is a Cuban European descendant making him a strong adherence to a diverse music environment. Music such as salsa, pop, merengue, progressive, Latin rock, disco, house, trans, funk,  r&b and reggaeton  are among his favorite.  Sarli single handily integrated salsa and merengue songs into a “Megamix”. He introduced the unprecedented “Megamix” concept to the latin industry back in the year 1990 to the Latin American Music Industry.

Carlos Sarli’s talent in mixing started to be recognized in the night clubs by large crowds that were pleased with his international flavor and style in music. It is a variety of Latin and American music of the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, and today, mixed in such an incomparable way, that it’s made every member of the crowd become energized. The nightclubs in south Florida include: Stefano’s of Key Biscayne, The Mutiny, String Fellows, The Cricket Club, Billboard Live, Cafe Iguanas Pines, Crobar, Bongos Cuban Café, Nikki Beach, Giorgio’s Bar & Grill, Quench, Spirits night club, Pangea, Gryphons, One Bal Harbour Resort & Spa , Costa d’ Este, among others. His talents were recognized by a local radio Disc Jockey,   Billboard Magazine’s Chief Editor of the Latin Column, News Papers, and Record Labels.
Sarli  also  had his own mix shows in radio stations such as, Radio Ritmo in Miami, Super Q in Miami, La Exitosa in Miami, Salsa 98 in Miami, La Kalle in Miami, and WOJO 105 in Chicago. Sarli has  been nominated 3 years in a row as best Latin Radio Mix Show Dj in the US by the WMC.

Record Labels have pressed many of Sarli’s Megamixes and Remixes and are continuously requesting his work.   Sarli has done Remixes and Megamixes for artists such as: Gloria Estefan, Celia Cruz, Kc and the Sunshine Band, El General, Olga Tanon, Eddie Santiago, Ray Ruiz, Donna Summers, Mana, Cocoband, Jerry Rivera, David Bisbal, and many more. Sarli’s  has been spinning in night clubs fulltime since 1980.
